![]() ![]() For a free piece of Software, Microsoft To Do is definitely something you should have on your Desktop and on your Phone if you’re someone who is busy and gets through a lot of different tasks. By setting reminders you can receive alerts on your devices about upcoming tasks, set deadlines and view an overall of tasks you’ve got for different days. You can synchronise using a personal Microsoft account or your Office 365 subscription if you have one. Like many of Microsofts’ other cloud based products To Do gives you the ability to access your To Do lists across all of your devices. To Do is integrated with Office 365 so any task list can be easily created, edited, and shared from the office, home, or on the go. Microsoft To Do is a cross platform app for creating, managing, and sharing Tasks and Lists. This will work with other apps and programs too, including Microsoft Outlook. Service available for: Full-time Faculty & Staff. Microsoft To Do will now start when you sign into your computer. Lastly, look through the Apps folder for Microsoft To Do, drag and drop the icon into your startup folder. Leave this Window open and repeat the steps again but instead of shell:AppsFolder type shell:startup. Pressing Enter should now bring up a Window with links to different programs and apps, including Microsoft To Do. This will give you a Run Box, in the run box you need to type the following shell:AppsFolder You can even reorder or delete Steps as your plans change, just like regular to-dos. That’s all there is to it Add more Steps by tapping Next step. Files that were added in Outlook Tasks will also be fully accessible in Microsoft. Adding a Step is easy: simply tap on a task in your list, then on the task detail view under the task name, tap Add step and add a name for it. Microsoft To-Do supports all file types, though file uploads are limited to 25 MB per task. You can now include more context by adding an image, document or other file to your task.
