I can't figure out how to "Report Bug" as suggested above. I am afraid of screwing something up if I do that though. Maybe I should copy my pictures to my external, delete Pictures folder, recreate Pictures folder, drop the pictures back into Pictures and try that. Like it lost the path to Pictures some way. Don't understand it because the Desktop is actually kind of a folder but Pictures are a folder too and it won't find or resize them there. If I take a picture out of a picture folder and copy it to my "random" folder, right-click and hit resize, it works right away, like in a half of a second with no problem. I just use it for some quick stuff and then I empty it. Now I always keep an empty folder on my desktop for downloads or whatever I'm working on called "random". So then it can't resize them my pictures folder which I have maybe 50 subfolders with pictures. I can't figure out why it says that it can't find the certain. I uninstalled PT and put the standalone resizer on and still getting the same boxed message. It is in a small box that pops up right away after I hit resize. I put PT on and still the same message box. I tried that the whole PowerToys program and got my right-click choice to resize and still the same message as I was getting above. The program can't find the image and can't resize the image. The program to resize my 6 images on the fly like before. With the original Image Resizer I could do 100 photos at a time on the fly. It's just not like the easy program that I had.Īnyone have a better choice? I can use Paint but got to do one photo at a time. You have to open the program first and then browse to the photos. I tried Windows Store Image Resizer and it is not as friendly and takes more steps to deal with the pictures. Is there another photo image resizer that is as simple to use as this one that I can use. I have been messing with it for 2 hours now and am giving up. I deleted all the program entries, restarted and started over and reinstalled the version from the website and it still does the same thing. I loved this program, I had to uninstall it. Real easy to use to but not after I updated my Windows 10 to 21H2 the program says it can't resize the pictures and it can't find the pictures even though I am in the pictures and did my right click to get to Image Resize. This program will resize a batch of photos on the fly from a right click dialog box, it saves it settings for the next use and will even delete the originals and replace them with a different size. I have use this program from Brice Lambson since Windows XP.
